About Vivekanand Education Society (VES) and VES College of Pharmacy

The Vivekanand Education Society started its educational activities in 1962 with only 256 students in a High School.  Today, the Society has over 18,000 students on the roll of Primary School, High School, Jr. College, Deg. College of Arts, Sci. and Commerce, Polytechnic & Engg. College, College for Management Studies and now College of Pharmacy.

The Society continues to flourish over 46 years of its existence.

Apart from educational activities, the Society also conducts many other programmes for the welfare of students and community.

The VES College of Pharmacy was started in July 2007, in a six storied separate building in Hashu Advani Memorial Complex with a built up area of 3468.54 sq. mts. 

Our goal is to impart Quality Education and contribute towards character building of students.  Our endeavor is to provide a very conducive academic atmosphere for students to freely interact for better learning.  

Mission of Vivekanand Education Society

To increase the intellectual wealth of the country by providing quality education and building excellent technical skills.

To make individuals highly confident, self- reliant and truly global citizens.

To also inculcate an holistic approach in pharma profession.

Vision of VES College of Pharmacy

To be the centre of excellence in the field of pharmacy education and research.  To meet the global health care challenges with courage, confidence, compassion and integrity.  

Goal of VES College of Pharmacy

To provide highest standard of education to students through excellent faculty, library and state-of-art laboratories. 

To inculcate professional conduct, facilitate and emphasize on the overall personality development of students.

To develop modern Information Center for Pharma Education & Research by net-working with Research Centers of Excellence at National and International level.

To have strong interactions with pharma-industry, hospitals and other health-care teams and regulatory bodies viz. UGC, State Govt., AICTE, PCI etc.

To have Continuing Education Programme for the industry, academia and medical profession.

To establish, monitor and follow-up the Alumni activities, from 1st passing out batch, from the academic year 2011-12.

To encourage the activities of the pharmacy profession through membership for the development of   strong professional associations.
